X Factor 2023: Second Live Show Tonight
After last week’s highly viewed season premiere, the second live show of X Factor 2023 is set to air tonight at 9:15 PM on Sky and streaming on Now.
The competition continues between the four judges: Fedez, Ambra Angiolini, Dargen D’Amico, and Morgan, along with their respective teams, ready to battle it out on the X Factor Arena stage. Francesca Michielin will be hosting the show, keeping the pace.
The format for this second night of the Sky Original show, produced by Fremantle, follows the classic mechanism: two rounds that will lead to a sing-off between the two artists with the fewest votes. The judges will then decide the outcome of the final sing-off.
Here are the song assignments for each judge’s artists: Fedez’s team will see Asia performing a cover of Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “All The Stars,” Maria Tomba bringing her energy with AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long,” and Sarafine offering her rendition of The Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby.” Ambra’s team will have Gaetano De Caro performing a cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” (Calum Scott version), Angelica singing John Newman’s “Love Me Again,” and Matteo Alieno performing Lucio Battisti’s “Dio mio no.” Dargen’s team will showcase Il Solito Dandy singing Gianni Togni’s “Giulia,” Settembre performing Geolier feat. Lazza and Takagi & Ketra’s “Chiagne,” and the Stunt Pilots covering Sting’s “Englishman In New York.” Morgan’s team will have Selmi performing a cover of Radiohead’s “No Surprises,” and the SickTeens singing Russ Ballard’s “Voices.”
Meanwhile, the anticipation grows for the wildcard entry, which will allow one eliminated contestant from the auditions to officially join the competition. The contenders for the wildcard spot are Astromare and Anna Castiglia. The chosen contestant will become part of Morgan’s team, filling the void left by the elimination of Animaux Formidables in the first episode, and will perform in the second round.
Tonight’s live show will also feature a performance by Elodie, who will bring her electrifying show to the X Factor Arena. The singer will showcase her new and surprising “Red Light,” the first Clubtape in Italy, which continues her experimentation with dance-pop. This is a special gift for her fans and a preview of her upcoming live performances in November and December during her first arena tour. Composed of seven continuous tracks, “Red Light” is a club-inspired project born from the adrenaline of her sold-out event at the Mediolanum Forum in May.
From that unforgettable event, the “Elodie Show 2023” was born. This special show, airing on Friday, November 10th at 9:15 PM on Sky Uno and streaming on Now, and at 9:30 PM on TV8, will feature all of Elodie’s hit songs performed live, accompanied by a band, a large dance troupe, and special guests. The show will also include an intimate and exclusive conversation with the cameras of Sky.
