Simona Ventura and Paola Perego returned to Rai 2 today, Sunday, October 1st, with the third edition of their show “Citofonare Rai 2”. This year, the show gained an extra half hour of airtime, officially starting at 10:30 to accompany the audience until Sunday lunch.
In the cast of this edition, we find: comedian Valeria Graci, actor and model Fabrizio Eleuteri, Gene Gnocchi, and Antonella Elia, accompanied, this season, by her partner Pietro Delle Piane. The couple actually participated in the only edition of “Temptation Island Vip” hosted by Simona Ventura, so she knows them well.
However, Antonella and Pietro’s television debut was not exactly the best. The two, in fact, became the protagonists of quite an embarrassing gaffe. While talking about love, the reporter asked one of the ladies present if the passion was still alive with her husband. The woman replied, “Always, it always has been. We have always been very happy.” At that point, Pietro tried to interrupt her and even made her fall onto the table she was sitting at. The reason? The woman’s husband, actually, is deceased.
Elia, in fact, continued to insist, pointing the microphone towards the woman and saying to her, “But…”. That’s when Pietro and the woman escalated, saying, “But the husband is dead!”. “What a disaster, it’s a tragedy. I don’t know how to get out of this,” Antonella replied, amidst embarrassed laughter from the audience and the two hosts. In short, a truly ‘horribilis’ gaffe that certainly made the debut of the couple on Rai 2’s program unforgettable. Of course, the video quickly circulated on the web, becoming viral on various social media platforms.
Antonella Elia and Pietro Delle Piane have been dating for 4 years. The showgirl met her partner (ten years younger) and since then, love has blossomed. In 2020, the two participated in “Temptation Island Vip”, an experience that ended with their separation. However, later on, Antonella and Pietro decided to give it another try and are still together today. Starting from October 1st, 2023, the couple also made their television debut, officially entering the cast of “Citofonare Rai 2”, the program hosted by Simona Ventura and Paola Perego.
